Old South State Paint

By on October 14, 2015

Try out the Carolina Panthers old south state paint tailgating recipe at the next big game! This Carolina style BBQ recipe forms the basis for the crust that all the spices stick to on your cut of pork, beef or chicken. Slather this on your pork butt and the salty, sweet and tart flavors form a paste that makes all the other dry rub spices stick to your meat. The yellow coloring comes from the mustard, which is a trademark of the North Carolina and South Carolina Barbecue.
